Geophysical and echometric surveys are carried out with the use of ultrasound probes, designed and constructed by the CHEMKOP. Based on our methods, we can measure the shapes and sizes of excavation voids in salt deposits, including the caverns designed for underground storage or deposition. Such services are followed by analysis and interpretation of measurement and survey results, with our own software packages, to assess the condition of caverns and the system of caverns. The related examinations are conducted with probes equipped with tilting heads that allow for taking measurements in hard-to-reach cavern sections. Our equipment is regularly modernised and expanded by inclusion of new options.
Preliminary reports of measurements are made available to our customers, within hours after measurement completion, and final reports are delivered within 24 hours.
